Family of “Mini AOC” parody child hit with wave of left-wing harassment and death threats as Congresswoman demands they be jailed for making fun of a member of the House

In authoritarian regimes throughout history but especially in the modern era, criticism of government officials is grounds for fines, punishment, imprisonment, and even death.
Tyrannical governments around the world exist today — right now — that outlaw criticism of their policies. Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, China, and even Russia to some extent, all punish citizen and media criticism with prison sentences.
Now, one member of Congress — a Democrat, as usual — thinks that American citizens ought to be treated the same way if they ‘dare’ to criticize a lawmaker.
“Those people who are online making fun of members of Congress are a disgrace,” Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) said during a speech in Homestead on Tuesday. “And there’s no need for anyone to think that is unacceptable.”
She then implied that she would work with the tech giants to find and punish ‘violators.’
“We’re going to shut them down and to work with whoever it is to shut them down, and they should be prosecuted,” Wilson continued.
In addition, she seemed to claim that mocking members of Congress is already a violation of the law (it isn’t; threatening them is a different story but that’s the same for citizens too).
“You cannot intimidate members of Congress – private members of Congress – it is against the law and it’s a shame in this United States of America,” she said, seemingly forgetting that no member of Congress is “private” in that they are our representatives and they serve in a public capacity.
The fact that a Democrat is advocating this kind of tyranny shouldn’t surprise anyone. The Left has a long, and growing, history of violence and authoritarianism — which explains another recent development.
You may have heard about the little girl known as MiniAOC — 8-year-old Ava Martinez, who managed to perfectly (mock) imitate Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She has provided hours and hours of entertainment for millions of Americans who have seen her videos go viral online. (Related: Cognitively challenged AOC says that being six weeks pregnant is no different than “missing your period.”)
Not anymore.
Left-wing Democratic violence and threats are out of hand
She has been forced to remove all of her social media accounts, no doubt due to parental intervention, after she and her family were harassed and threatened by cowardly Leftists. The harassment included death threats — because, as Frederica Wilson intimates, you cannot and will not be permitted to mock, ridicule, or otherwise call out Left-wing Democrats for being who they are.
“Ava will not be doing any more MINI AOC content. The Left’s harassment and death threats have gone too far for our family. We have been getting calls on our personal phone numbers. For our safety and for our child’s safety, we deleted all Mini AOC accounts,” wrote her stepfather, Salvatore Schachter, who goes by “Sicken Tirade” on Twitter, on Friday.

In an interview with The Gateway Pundit, he added, “We had to delete our accounts because the threats, harassment, negativity and hate directed at Ava and our family grew too much to bear.
“The calls, texts, posts and emails from angry, hate-filled people were quite frankly, disturbing,” he continued.
“We started Mini AOC because Ava is a natural performer who loves to entertain and she enjoyed the praise she was getting for her sense of humor and charming personality,” he said. “It’s with some sadness that she will not get to share her talent with the many people who enjoyed her videos because of others who use violence as a means to an end. I do find it odd that people feel the need to protect a congressperson with such hate and disgust.”
Users were outraged, comparing the Democrat Left to wanting “gulags” for ‘dissenters’ and for lying about being so ‘tolerant.’
We have entered a dangerous period in our history: When one side can no longer accept humor, let along disagreement and debate, without resorting to threats against a child, there is simply nothing left to salvage.
